Alan Ashcraft, who does tour merchandise and graphic design has dropped hints on a possible Linkin Park reunion, and it appears they’ve hired him.
There is a huge possibility that reunion plans could be in the pipeline and according to reports, some members of the band including Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Dave “Phoenix” Farrell are gearing up for a reunion tour next year.
Amid the speculation, Linkin Park has mysteriously added a 100-hour countdown timer on their official website and social media accounts and it has sparked speculation about what the band has in store for the fans. The website URL has also been updated to include the symbol ‘ø.’ Fans have noticed that it is also the title of the YouTube video hosting the countdown timer. The timer will stop at zero on Wednesday, August 28.
Alan Ashcraft joins Linkin Park for their upcoming plans?
Ashcraft took to his X account and shared the countdown. He said that he worked on the new project and can’t wait to share more details about it.
Mike Shinoda had posted the countdown timer on his Instagram account. Brad Delson himself has posted the same as well. Chester’s widow, Talinda Bennington and others have also shared the post. However, the band’s drummer Rob Bourbon, who is not active on social media, is the only member who hasn’t posted it.
There have talks of the band possibly recruiting a female lead vocalist and fill in for Chester Bennington. Linkin Park has left an influential mark on the music world but they have been on a hiatus since his tragic death. Chester Bennington was a vital part of the band’s iconic sound and he passed away by suicide at the age of 41. The band’s final album, One More Light, was released just a couple of months before Bennington’s passing.
The possibility of a Linkin Park reunion, especially with potentially new material has excited the fans and it’s only a matter of few hours before the revelation.
