Former Metallica bassist Ron McGovney has posted a new photo of James Hetfield appearing to get tipsy drinking ‘a little bit of the bubbly’ during his younger days. AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson discussed a disturbing James Hetfield injury yesterday.

A Metallica fan account first tweeted an angry James Hetfield video GIF, writing, “DIE! DIE! DIE! 👊🏻💀”

McGovney responded, “James seems more friendly than that……”

A fan named CD Flagg wrote to thank Ron for sharing vintage photos, “Thanks for sharing Ron. I’m reading this sitting on the corner of Imperial Highway and Bloomfield near Metropolitan State Hospital here in Norwalk.”

Ron responded, “Not far from where my house was. I remember Metropolitan. It was creepy to me when I was a kid.”

Metallica recently revealed why they may have been disrespectful to Jason Newsted. Metallica were forced to cancel a tour recently after James Hetfield entered rehab. Lars Ulrich has kept busy, writing a few days ago on social media, “Incredible time hanging at the U.S. Grand Prix in Austin with my gang.. congrats and fuck yeah to Valtteri Bottas on winning an exhilarating Formula 1 race and a huge shout to Lewis Hamilton for his 6th career World Championship.

Thank you to my friend Toby for organizing and to Toto, Drew, Christian, and everyone else associated with @MercedesAMGF1 and @MercedesBenzUSA for making us feel so welcome!

He recently wrote about bandmate Robert Trujillo, “Happy Birthday to my partner in Rock ‘n Roll and World Exploration …..’RT in the house’….Here’s to another year of Fuck yeahs, That’s rights, Step ups and otherworldly, crazy, next level mind-bending adventures!!! #wanna.” A Metallica icon revealed a fake photo James Hetfield created last week.
