Former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar recently shared a photo with Michael Anthony, Eddie Van Halen, and Alex Van Halen from near the end of their time playing together during their original run from their Rock Walk of Fame induction in October 1995. Eddie Van Halen’s wife recently shared a ‘struggle’ photo.

It’s a brutal photo knowing how Eddie’s relationship with Hagar fell apart after the split, with the two never fully seeming to reconcile even during their 2004 tour. Michael Anthony began to have distance from Eddie after Hagar’s 1996 exit as well, with Eddie not letting him record as much on Van Halen III before he eventually exited after the 2004 tour.

A Van Halen icon unloaded on David Lee Roth disrespect yesterday. Hagar wrote, “#Throwback to Oct 6, 1995 for the Van Halen induction onto the Rock Walk in Hollywood! Who has been by to see the handprints in front of the Guitar Center in LA? #TBT #RockNRoll #GuitarCenter #AllHandsOnDeck #VanHandslen #StuckWithUsForever.”

Anthony responded, “I have!!”

Hagar responded, “@mad_anthony_bassman OK wiseguy this wasn’t meant for you Ha ha ha of course you have😂.”

Sammy Hagar recently stated that he’d like to do a one off Van Halen reunion show. Bad to the Bone responded to Hagar’s recent statements on VHLinks.com, “Whatever. Even I get tired of some of this stuff. Sam says what’s on his mind and it bites him in the ass…..or better yet, he says what’s on his mind AT THAT MOMENT which can be cool but when you contradict yourself it gets tiresome.

I said it before and I’ll say it again: Sam and Mike will never do anything with VH again. The window is closed.

Sam and Mike actually have a good thing going. It’s not as big as VH (obviously) but they enjoy themselves. I don’t know how much Sam and especially Mike would ENJOY doing anything with VH. I think Ed’s resentment of Mike would make anything with Mike next to impossible.” Michael Anthony reacted to rumors that Eddie Van Halen is sick a few days ago.
