Last week, Axl Rose did a Q&A at the China Exchange in London and revealed that he is working on new music which has been received positively by Duff McKagan and Slash. MSL reported on GNRTruth in January that Slash and McKagan were working on new Guns N’ Roses material. He recently reiterated the story on GNRTruth in a discussion about a hypothetical new Guns N’ Roses greatest hits collection.
“I was told in January that Slash & Duff were in the studio working on a couple new songs for possible inclusion later in the year on a hits collection. If it is a two disc release, two new songs sounds about right. We’re in June now. plans often change. I’ve heard nothing new. For all i know, what was intended may not happen. But, I personally expect there to be new product in stores for Christmas. We’ll just have to see how it plays out.”
