Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx recently discussed the deaths of Tom Petty and Prince. Tom Petty’s daughter recently leaked a creepy Mick Jagger photo.

Sixx said, “More people died from opioid abuse last year than from traffic accidents.

We lost Juice WRLD, Tom Petty, Prince and many more musicians, doctors, machinists, taxi drivers, athletes, teachers, cashiers and people from all walks of life.

THIS MUST STOP. Maybe it’s time for artists and the music industry to step up and save lives.

I’m working with several artists and music companies to do just that. Please join me! #maybeitstime.”

Michele commented, “My stepson died from his addiction on October 7th, 2019. Dale was only 33 years old. He injected a fatal dose of meth, heroin and fentanyl. Nikki, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to raise awareness about drug abuse.#maybeitstime”

Rhonda responded, “I’m celebrating 2 years opiate free next month. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do after 15 years of daily Morphine and Percocet. I’m a chronic pain patient who just kept getting prescribed higher and higher doses and had it continued it could have turned bad, I was lucky. It’s very difficult everyday to try and manage my pain without the meds, but I have to for my health and it’s a struggle. I’ve lost too many who weren’t so lucky.”

Janice said, “My daughter kicked the heroin, and is now back in rehab due to pain pills. They are so easy for people to get either through their family member, friends or just off the street. It needs to end. I love my daughter and I will do whatever i can to keep her here on earth with me.”

Patty wrote, “I was surprised to hear Tom Petty! I thought he died of a heart attack. Just looked it up and accidental overdose. Wow Sixx, how sad and scary.” A Motley Crue member just ‘refused’ a 2020 world tour.
