Former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Abbruzzese recently discussed the Ten era rarity “Chinese” in a new Facebook post, revealing it was one of his first experiences in the studio with Pearl Jam. While the song is labeled as from 1991, it was likely recorded in 1992.

“I always remember this track. It was one of the first experiences i had with being in the studio with PJ. Enjoy.”

A fan named Joost asked Abbruzzese, “Was it recorded during the same sessions as evenflow and the singles soundtrack? And is Eddie just making up words? Fun track and should have been released somewhere!”

Abbruzzese responded, “Joost… Yes.”

Abbruzzese also recently wrote about playing with Chris Cornell’s brother Peter Cornell on his 2014 solo album Champion. He wrote, “Ladies & Gents… Peter Cornell.”

A fan named Emyr commented, “Was listening today. Killer album. Wish it got more coverage as such. Lots of people missing out.”

Abbruzzese responded, “I couldn’t agree more!”

Former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Abbruzzese released a cover of Chris Cornell’s “Seasons” with Pseutopia in December.
