Pearl Jam have released their first new song in five years “Can’t Deny Me” to Ten Club members. You can download the full song by logging into your account on PearlJam.com. The band contributed “Obey The Law Of The Heart” to the Basmati Blues soundtrack last year but it didn’t feature Eddie Vedder on lead vocals, it was largely a Stone Gossard creative vehicle.

Pearl Jam’s last album was 2013’s Lightning Bolt. The band are set to tour South America, Europe, and North America this year.

Below are some lyrics from the song (they may not be exact, these are by ear), which appear to have some references to President Donald Trump.

‘And now you want me to plead/and be so grateful/for the air that I need’

‘You may be rich but you can’t deny me/got nothing but the will to survive’

‘Try to talk down to me/my mind it ain’t so simple/your vocabulary/your ignorance is sinful.’

‘The country you are poisoning/condition critical’

‘You know you’re sick and you can’t deny me/you got nothing got something to hide/we see right through you and you can’t deny me’

You can download the full song in the Ten Club section on PearlJam.com if you are a member. Below is a short clip.
