This album serves as the follow-up to their 2017 album “Villains,” which was critically acclaimed and received several awards. The new album is said to feature a single called “Emotion Sickness,” which has already been released and is available for listening. The band also released a visually stunning music video directed by Liam Lynch that accompanies the single.

The majority of the album was recorded and mixed at Joshua Homme’s Pink Duck Studios, the band’s personal studio, and was produced by the band themselves. The mixing was handled by Mark Rankin, a sound engineer known for his work with artists such as Adele, Florence and the Machine, and Queens of the Stone Age’s previous album, “Villains.” Boneface, a graphic artist and frequent collaborator of the band, designed the artwork and double album gatefold for the vinyl release, which is sure to be a must-have for collectors and fans alike.

Queens of the Stone Age have been around since 1996, and since then, they have managed to garner a large fan base with their unique sound that blends elements of rock, metal, and punk. Their music has been described as dark, brooding, and aggressive, yet it also contains a sense of humor and irony that sets them apart from their peers.

With this new album, the band has promised to continue their tradition of creating music that is both sonically interesting and emotionally compelling. Fans can expect a cohesive album that features the band’s trademark sound, but also showcases their growth and evolution as musicians. The release of “In Times New Roman…” is sure to be one of the most highly anticipated musical events of the year, and it is bound to cement Queens of the Stone Age’s reputation as one of the most exciting and innovative bands in the industry.
