Rage Against The Machine have posted a tribute in honor of Chris Cornell on the 4-year anniversary of his death. He wrote, “RIP brother. It’s been 4 years since we lost you @ChrisCornell.”
The real Soundgarden band page at Nudedragons, along with Vicky Cornell’s Soundgarden and Chris Cornell pages have changed their profile photos to all black to mark the anniversary.
Lisa commented, “Thank you Soundgarden for your wonderful talents – your music got me through really rough times and made me feel like I belonged – I love Soundgarden ❤️🙏🌞. Each person brought such greatness to the music – like a dream.”
Justin added, “I still remember that fateful day as though it was yesterday and never fully recovered from it.
I was just waking up and getting ready for work when the news broke out about Chris. As a child who grew up on Soundgarden, there is absolutely no words I can find to properly describe both the shock and the disbelief that gripped me the moment I heard the news.
Rest In Peace Chris Cornell, we miss you.”
Stefan said, “Thank you Chris and thank you Soundgarden for everything you all gave me over 26 years of my life. Your music got me through so many difficult times in my life. And helped me celebrate the great times as well. Your music and voice was a rock for me. You were always there. To be honest I want to celebrate July 20th rather than today. Looking forward to it.”
