Kid Rock Explains Purpose of Alternative Halftime Show
Kid Rock is set to perform at Turning Point USA’s “All American Halftime Show,” which will stream online during the official Super Bowl halftime performance by Bad Bunny. He said the show is meant for a certain audience and is not about spreading negativity.
He explained, “In no way are we approaching this with any hate in our hearts.”
Kid Rock added, “We’re simply going to go play some great songs for our base—people who love football, love America, love good music, love Jesus.”
The alternative halftime show will feature Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Gabby Barrett, and Lee Brice. It is scheduled to stream online on February 8 while the official halftime show airs on television.
