It was noted during the interview that plenty of fans would love to hear Plant with Led Zeppelin. Here is what Plant said, “Going back to the font to get some kind of massive applause — it doesn’t really satisfy my need to be stimulated.”

He was questioned if that makes him feel like an outlier among your classic-rock peers.  Plant replied: “I know there are people from my generation who don’t want to stay home and so they go out and play. If they’re enjoying it and doing what they need to do to pass the days, then that’s their business, really.”

Robert Plant also recently revealed that one of his most iconic poses of Led Zeppelin emerged from insecurity with his singing. The Led Zeppelin frontman said that he often arched his back away from his microphone hand, not to look like a glorious golden-haired rock god, but to soften the aural blow of a note sung out of tune.

Plant had previously recalled that he was once offered a role in Game of Thrones. However, the former Led Zeppelin singer and current solo artist ultimately turned down the part in the popular HBO fantasy drama TV series that ended in 2019. Plant joked about his reason for declining.

He spoke about the imagery drawn in Zeppelin tunes — including the Scandinavian mythology at the basis of the band’s “Immigrant Song” (1970) — the vocalist who is now well-known for duetting with bluegrass musician Alison Krauss mused about the icy Game of Thrones aesthetic he likely helped create with Zeppelin.
