Sharon Osbourne Revives Bruce Dickinson Feud
Sharon Osbourne has revisited her long-running dispute with Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, suggesting she has not moved past what she describes as his disrespect toward Ozzy Osbourne during a festival run where Maiden played before him.
During a livestream on The Osbournes’ YouTube channel, Sharon responded to a fan asking if she had forgiven Dickinson by saying, “Oh, has he forgiven himself?”
Sharon said she loves Iron Maiden but took issue with Dickinson specifically, claiming he accepted payment to play the festival while “bad-mouthing” Ozzy to the crowd. She argued that, in her view, such behaviour warranted consequences, adding, “you’ve got to pay.”
She also detailed her alleged retaliation, saying she had Dickinson “pelted with cans of baked beans that were open” and that she “cut his sound.” Sharon added that Ozzy respected the other members of Iron Maiden and did not know what was happening until the final night, when she said he looked at her and told her, “You’re terrible.”
The new remarks are the latest example of Sharon’s willingness to publicly defend Ozzy’s reputation, something that has also played out in other disputes, including when she spoke out about an Ozzy-related photo lawsuit in past comments.
While the incident has become part of metal tour folklore, Sharon’s latest answers indicate any real reconciliation with Dickinson remains unlikely, keeping one of the genre’s most notorious backstage feuds in the spotlight.
