Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash is quite a popular figure and often stars come across the impersonators. Slash was no exception as, during an interview with CNN, he talked up his bizarre fan encounters. The veteran guitarist recently announced a huge Guns N’ Roses 2022 release.

Slash recalls his reaction of seeing an impersonator of himself

During the interview, he was asked about how he feels about people dressing up like him for Halloween. The Guns N’ Roses guitarist stated that it is ‘a little unnerving’ to run into yourself. He talked about going to a party few years back where there were two impersonators of himself and it turned out to be a little bizarre for the legendary guitarist.

He said:

“It’s a little unnerving to go someplace and run into yourself. I do recall going to a party a few years ago and there were two of me, so it was a little bizarre.”

Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash revealed during an interview with CNN recently that the ‘Not in This Lifetime Tour’ was supposed to be only initially a handful of shows saying:

“When we got back together, that whole chemistry and that thing that makes what Guns N’ Roses is for me and Axl and Duff it all just sort of came together, After that long a period of time, we’d sort of forgotten what that was like. Everybody got along great. That’s actually why the tour has kept going, because initially it was just going to be a couple of shows.”

Slash plans to release an album and tour next year with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, with Guns N’ Roses also planning tour dates and the physical release of an EP featuring “Hard Skool” and “Absurd,” two reworked new ‘Chinese Democracy’ leftover songs recorded recently.
