Slipknot member Sid Wilson recently smashed a guitar onstage at celebrate the launch of a Hard Rock Cafe in London. He posted two video clips from the grand opening. A Slipknot member’s father’s brutal insult was revealed yesterday.

Sid wrote, “#hardrockcafepiccadillycircus #SID #djstarscream #0 #slipknot #guitarsmash #grandopening stylist @dawnritz.” He also posted, “#hardrockcafe #SID #djstarscream #0 #slipknot #sidthe3rd #london #piccadillycircus #grandopening #guitarsmash thank you @dawnritz for makin me the illest stage clothes! @mach2point8ent.”

Slipknot guitarist Jim Root was recently asked by WMMR if Slipknot are planning anything special for their 25th anniversary. He said, “I don’t know, man. I don’t know if we’re gonna [play] a [whole] record [live]. We did that with ‘Iowa’ at Knotfest, and it was cool — it was a cool thing.

But it might be cool to do… We have been talking about maybe trying to find some way to play [the new Slipknot] album [‘We Are Not Your Kind’] in its entirety — from top to bottom. I would like to do that. I think that would be something really cool. And do it in a really toned down, stripped down, not big stage set, club atmosphere type of thing. I’d love to do something like that. And then maybe webcast it or something.”

A Slipknot member making Corey Taylor shut up onstage was recently revealed. ScaredMusic recently asked on the Slipknot Reddit if “Diluted” has ever been performed live, and if it hasn’t been played, why the band don’t play it.

“Diluted is one of my favorite songs off of self titled but then I realized I don’t recall it being played live, so I searched on YouTube to no avail. There are a few live videos of Interloper, but even sifting through various 1999, and 2000 performances, I can’t find any of the setlists containing Diluted. I feel as if Diluted and No Life are underrated songs on self titled, although I did find a few performances of No Life, but I’d really like to see a live performance of Diluted even if the quality is shit. But I don’t even know if they’ve ever performed the song live. Anyone here know?”

BortJabroni responded, “No, never played live. Corey has stated before that the song is too emotional for him because it is about his (then) absent father. Unfortunately. I think for many (long time) fans, like myself, it’s the holy grail of songs they want to see live.” A Corey Taylor Slipknot mask was recently sold for a massive price.
