Steven Tyler and Aerosmith have announced that Joey Kramer was injured after twisting his ankle, and would be missing a show on tour. An Aerosmith member revealed earlier this week how the band fell apart after Steven Tyler fired Joe Perry.
“National Harbor! What a Town, what a Mob, what a Show… SOLD OUT #DeucesAreWild East Coast Run!… We’ll be without our Aeroforce Brother Joey for this First Show… He Twisted his Ankle…Kicking our asses at rehearsal…But he’ll be Back…Walking and Talking… And Crawling on his Belly like a Reptile… On Saturday Night!”
Steven Tyler was recently photographed with Gene Simmons’ wife. Tyler accidentally fell during a performance of “Walk This Way” on Thursday in Maryland. A roadie went to help Tyler, and he kept singing lying on his back, completing the show without a hitch.
A fan named Linda commented on Facebook, “Fantastic show on opening night! Wondered what happened to Joey… Every band member looked like they were having fun and enjoyed performing. Hope Steven is okay after talking that tumble on stage. He is sooo magical and energetic! 💗”
A fan named Vicki pointed out that Kramer missed Las Vegas shows in April after a health issue, “Get well soon, Joey! Was so disappointed you weren’t able to play in Vegas on 04.26.19 because of a fall as well. Show was great, but REALLY missed seeing you on those drums!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️”
Thomas commented, “No Joey, REFUND.” Mary Jane said, “Feel better soon Joey!! We want you playing again in Springfield!! Can’t wait to see ALL the Bad Boys from Boston!”
