The Rock and Roll community, including this entertainment news outlet, is still reeling from the loss of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. Hawkins passed away at the age of fifty on March 25th, 2022 after being found unresponsive at his hotel room in Bogotá, Colombia. The Foo Fighters’ official social media accounts would announce the tragic news, with the cause of death being unconfirmed. However, Hawkins did suffer chest pains before his passing. The group was on tour in South America when the death took place and the festival stage on which the Foo Fighters were to perform that night was turned into a candlelight vigil for Hawkins.
Full House actor, John Stamos was a friend of Hawkins and would recently take to social media touching on the last text that the late Foo Fighters drummer would type to him before his tragic passing. On the social media platform, Stamos would proclaim how Hawkins wanted the two to see each other and how sad his death was. The entertainer’s tweet can be seen below.
This was Taylor Hawkins’ last text to me: “Ya We’ve yet to fully have a hang -Got a put that shit together before we die” Wise words from my friend- put that s*** together! I’m so f***ing sad. Another one gone too soon.
