Author & Punisher is the Industrial Metal project of artist Tristan Shone. It has been noted that it features some Metal heavyweights on its new release. The new project has been titled “Krüller” and the record that has been released recently features Tool’s rhythm section, drummer Danny Carey and bassist Justin Chancellor.
Two new songs released
The musicians are quite aware of Shone, as he opened for Tool in the band’s 2020 tour, and they are set to be a part of the new project. As reported by Revolver, Carey unleashes his percussive virtuosity on the track “Misery”, while Chancellor provides the droning bass licks on “Centurion”.
“Krüller”‘s release was accompanied by the launch of Shone’s new audio gear company, Drone Machines, and the musician is heading on the road to promote his new effort across the U.S. and Europe, with all dates and venues available here.
Speaking about Tool, the band previously debuted a new song live on tour. Tool also recently returned to Las Vegas for the first time in almost a couple of years on a Saturday night. The veteran metal band has now staged two of its past 30 performances at T-Mobile Arena, the only venue that’s hosted Tool twice since the group released its fifth album, Fear Inoculum, in 2019. The band also recently went to San Diego, south of their home in Los Angeles, for their concert at Viejas Arena.
Tool recently resumed their tours. It was recently noted that Tool fans were not delighted to listen to the band live in concert at the Ball Arena in Denver, CO on January 27. But it wasn’t their fault. It turns out poor sound quality annoyed the fans in attendance.
