Linkin Park guitarist Mike Shinoda has posted a new Linkin Park logo on his social media, with 5 sides now instead of 6 with the death of Chester Bennington.
Adam Ruehmer tweeted, “From Mike: Tell the fans we love them and appreciate their wonderful messages and gestures.”
Joe Hahn wrote on Instagram, “Always shining. I miss my friend.”
Linkin Park canceled their One More Light tour yesterday in light of Chester Bennington’s death.
Kiiara, who recently collaborated with Linkin Park on “Heavy,” just shared her grief over Chester Bennington’s passing on Twitter.
“The other night, I felt so off like a 6th sense,” writes the singer, “and the more I think about this, I guess that was your way of saying goodbye, your way of telling me to hold on.” She fondly remembers the rock frontman for his “way to make everyone laugh.” Recalling a carefree side of Chester, she draws on a memory from rehearsals where he “sang heavy in pretty much every accent I can think of.”
