A fan recently claimed WWE, WCW, ECW, and TNA wrestling legend Raven’s character was entirely based on Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. Raven responded on Twitter, “Who’s Eddie Vedder, and who’s he ever beat?”

Raven is friends with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, and interviewed him on his Raven Effect podcast last year.

Corgan said, “Did you ever see the Oprah, I swear to God, it was an Oprah episode where they tested if women farted as much as men.”

“I swear to God, it was a real episode. They attached these weird plastic bags to this couple, and they wanted to see, basically was it a myth that men farted more than women. At the end of the show, they revealed that proportionate to weight, that women fart just as much as men. This couple actually allowed, on Oprah, to have plastic bags attached to their bottoms. I swear to God, I saw it with my own eyes!”

He added, “Look it up, I swear to God.”

He also discussed Hulk Hogan’s sex tape, and his lawsuit with Gawker.

“I have not watched the sex tape. Generally speaking, not interested in people’s sex tapes. As far as the lawsuit goes, I think that it is a very important case because we’ve entered an era now where attaching a celebrity’s name to anything is good business. There’s a whole cottage industry built not just around gossip, but the implication of something unsundry.”

He added, “That was an issue where Gawker obviously thought they would have the law on their side, and flaunted that belief at Hulk in a way that incentivized him to really pursue the case, and obviously he won the case, and rightly so.”
