Van Halen bassist, and Eddie Van Halen‘s son, Wolfgang Van Halen reacted to Katherine Kruger making a ‘deeply disturbing’ claim about a Robert Redford meme. Sammy Hagar revealed a photo of himself after his Van Halen firing a few days ago.

Katherine Krueger said, “Today I learned a not insignificant number of my colleagues never knew Robert Redford is the ‘nodding guy meme.’ Deeply disturbing.”

Wolfgang Van Halen responded, “It’s one thing to not know who Robert Redford is, but to assume that it’s Zach Galifianakis WHEN YOU HAVE EYES AND CAN TELL THAT IT’S NOT HIM PHYSICALLY HURTS ME.”

Michael Anthony recently claimed that Van Halen’s manager Irving Azoff called him last year to propose the idea of returning for a reunion tour, seemingly replacing Wolfgang on bass and getting his old job back. David Lee Roth hinted at an original lineup reunion in December 2018, and in January Roth’s business manager called Anthony.

Anthony said a couple of months ago that it’s been radio silence since then, and seemed to confirm rumors that a July tour had been discussed, as he had a touring break with Sammy Hagar and the Circle scheduled, which is odd considering it’s prime touring season.

Wolfgang Van Halen has been rumored to release his debut solo album for years following his work with Tremonti, but it has yet to come to fruition. Van Halen fans have suggested that Wolfgang Van Halen opening on a Van Halen original lineup reunion tour would make a lot of sense based on Eddie enjoying touring with his son. A Van Halen icon recently revealed how he was booed for a disgusting performance.
