Greta Van Fleet fansite FromTheFires.com has confirmed that the band’s second studio album will be released in 2020, and not in 2019 like they previously promised. Greta Van Fleet’s massive bill at a bar was revealed yesterday.

“It’s been confirmed that GVF will be releasing a new album in 2020 with a tour to follow. We also know that they are scheduled to play Detroit in Dec 2020!!! So all of their local hometown fans and the die hards who look forward to these winter dates should be pretty excited and can start with their travel plans. They also have a Raleigh NC show planned for May.”

Josh Kiszka was recently disrespected with young women. In December 2018, Greta Van Fleet said they’d break up if they didn’t release new music in 2019. “A lot more writing, getting some stuff recorded and start working on the next thing,” said Sam Kiszka when asked by Billboard about the band’s 2019 plans, while drummer Danny Wagner added when asked if 2019 would see new material, “Oh yeah, absolutely. I’ll quit if we don’t.” Frontman Josh Kiszka added, “We’ll all quit; we’re parting ways if we don’t release new music.” They were likely being sarcastic, but we’ll have to wait and see!

Greta Van Fleet are coming off a huge year of touring and winning a Grammy, along with their first ever performance on Saturday Night Live.
