Tool singer Maynard James Keenan has released ‘An Easter Story’ for Tool fans. The short film is scored by Nagual del Judith’s mix of Puscifer’s ‘A Humbling River.’

In the movie, Keenan proclaims: “As romantic a notion as it is, we are not islands and we cannot always do this thing called life on our own.” He describes spring as “the bringer of life, rebirth, reproduction, resurrection, reconnection, of salvation, of infinity and of hope” before wishing viewers “a happy Easter.”

Bomber767 commented, “This makes me feel so grateful for my life & upbringing. To me…this is a ‘normal’ day &/or concepts. I grew up in a small community & as I’ve grown older, spread my wings…I don’t always connect with the rat race of people running around, going on about super trivial things. It’s nice to see this & knowing not everyone is lost in that rat race & all of the people that appreciate this. Wishing you all the best!”

Jason Dolan wrote, “Having seen most of Maynards work and having the pleasure of drinking his wine, he’s a creative impressive man. What’s really impressive about him is his grasp of cycles and nature; his ability to explain this to a crowd of people in such a great manner.”
