Halestorm singer Lzzy Hale recently told Sweetwater than she shoves her heel on Alice In Chains legend Jerry Cantrell every night by using his Friedman JJ-100 Jerry Cantrell Signature 100-watt 2-channel Tube Head, and gets ‘great pleasure’ from it. In a new interview with Sweetwater, Cantrell was told about the Hale’s comments, and he seemed flattered.
The interviewer said, “We did a similar thing with Lzzy Hale, she has your wah.”
Cantrell responded while laughing, “Cool, right on.”
The interviewer added, “And she took great pleasure and said, ‘I put my seven inch leather heel on Jerry every night.'”
Cantrell told Hale, “You can put it on me any time you want.”
He also said about his pedal that Hale uses, “The cool thing is seeing that a lot of other people really like that pedal as well. I’ve seen that pedal used by a lot of guys. I’m like cool, glad it works for somebody else other than just me.”
