Anthony Kiedis movie is coming
The Anthony Kiedis movie is finally coming. Kiedis’ life has inspired a lot of people. The member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers band had a book on him titled ‘Scar Tissue.’ Universal Pictures now has the rights to the book, as they are in the early stages of a movie based on the same. The movie will be produced by Brian Grazer through Imagine Entertainment, Kiedis, and Guy Oseary.
The book that has the journey of an artist, addict and ringleader. It talks about the time in 1970s and ’80s L.A. punk scene. The kind of music that changed or rather shaped the music eventually embraced by millions.
Deadline reports that Universal was behind the N.W.A pic Straight Outta Compton. It had an Oscar nomination for Original Screenplay. Jay Polidoro who is the Universal’s EVP Production Development will oversee the work on behalf of the studio for the Anthony Kiedis movie.
Kiedis’ birth happened in Grand Rapids, MI but he moved to Los Angeles around age 12. He co-founded Red Hot Chili Peppers alongside guitarist Hillel Slovak, bassist Flea (Michael Balzary) and drummer Jack Irons in 1983.
Anthony Kiedis legacy grows stronger
It was Kiedis’ performance, energy and stage presence that got him a fanbase. The punk and rock, funk fusion also helped it and it’s one of the reasons why the group had nine Top 10 albums, 15 No. 1 Modern Rock singles, six grammys and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
Kiedis had a journey full of passion for music, addiction and music as an art. He gets represented by CAA, Oseary and Eric Greenspan at Myman Greenspan Fineman Fox Rosenberg & Light LLP.
Kiedis’ journey will be an adventure and inspiration for those who have a burning desire to become something even in troublesome situations. He surpassed every problem in his life and represented it through his music. It would be interesting to see how people watch the movie when it comes out for public viewing.
