Blink-182 have uploaded clips of four new songs from the One More Time deluxe edition. Some fans believe that they sound a lot like their 2011 album, Neighborhoods.
Blink-182’s Neighborhoods marked a significant chapter in the band’s history. Released in 2011, this album was their first after a long hiatus and showcased a more mature, introspective side of the iconic pop-punk trio. The album reflects the personal and professional growth of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker, capturing their struggles and triumphs during the time they spent apart.
Blink-182 could drop the album in August
It has been noted that the album could be released later this month. On the After School Radio episode about the band, Mark Hoppus mentioned again an August release date. He said that new songs will be released, and not leftover songs.
Some fans believe it might be similar to the band’s ‘California’ album where they ended up making way more songs than they intended for the deluxe, and are still contractually obligated to promote One More Time, so they can’t make it a new album.
One fan even guessed the release date to be August 16th which is their last August date before heading overseas is the 15th in Toronto. They will be heading to Leeds Festival on August 21st.
In the past few months, the band has been teasing the fans. Travis Barker had been spotted filming something and Mark Hoppus was also there at the studio. This led to the fans speculating that a new album might be on the way.
A new photo from DeLonge showed that he was working on something that currently is titled “Blink Main Rhythm.” This was with other photos of the three laying down tracks in the studio seems to suggest we could be soon getting more new music from the band.
Blink-182 are seemingly back in the studio and the hints indicate that they are working on a new material. This has certainly got the fans buzzing. The iconic trio – Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker have reunited to create some memorable tracks.
