Fresh Prince star Will Smith became the center of attention of controversy during last night’s Acadamy Awards. While comedian Chris Rock delivered an off-color joke about the actress, and Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith, the King Richard actor would walk to the stage and slap Rock and demand that he “keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.”

Several entertainers would comment on the situation. However, long-time Blink-182 member Tom Delonge would put his own spin on things. Taking to social media via Instagram, DeLonge posted a parody picture of the slap which would show the Prime Minister of Ukraine slapping Russian President Vladimir Putin as well as the reactions of several A-list stars as it was happening including The Rock, Emma Stone, and Ryan Gosling. Both photos can be seen below. Blink-182 recently made this huge offer to Tom DeLonge.

In other news concerning Blink-182, during an interview for Rolling Stone that was conducted last year, the iconic duo of Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge would talk about a variety of topics. Firstly, the two would touch on how the duo can go several years without talking and then resume like old friends. Credit to the outlet for the below.
“Because we appreciate dick jokes in a way that no one else does,” DeLonge quipped. “It boils down to only that, there is nothing else. It’s that, in my opinion.” Hoppus agreed, adding, “I think so, because the first time that we met, I think it was dick jokes from the beginning in your garage.”

In addition, Hoppus discussed how infamous Sixth Sense director M. Night Shyamalan almost directed a music video for the group.

“Within half an hour, we’re all sitting together and he’s coming up with ideas for a Blink video,” Hoppus recalled. “And I mean, he did come up with a whole treatment and everything. It was going to cost, whatever it was, $20 million, but I mean, just on your gumption or I don’t know, no fucks to give, just walk up to somebody and say, ‘Hey, I want you to direct a Blink video.’”
