Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder have been selected as part of SiriusXM’s new fantasy supergroup. A new Eddie Vedder video with Red Hot Chili Peppers’ fired guitarist was just revealed.

Hardy from SiriusXM tweeted, “Here it is, our @sxmLithium Fantasy Supergroup: Dave Grohl (drums), Flea (bass), Tom Morello (guitar), Eddie Vedder (lead vocals).”

Congrats to the winners, and thanks for thousands of nominations & votes. Now, we’re gonna need you guys to schedule some time in 2020…”

Mike Finder responded, “Can we start a Super-B-Siders-Group made up of the the ones who did not win? Like Les Claypool, Kim Thayil, Serj, and Matt Cameron or something.” Boston Sports Stan chimed in, “Eddie Vedder has possibly the most annoying rock voice in the last 20 years. I’m all set.”

Jerry said, “Just take my money? I kind of wish this were accurate. Maybe for some kind of huge charity fundraiser they could do this.” John Atkinson said, “What a fantasy. My favorite singer and guitarist along with two other competent (😜) players. But I still stand by my dream 4SOME… Mike Patton, Rory Gallagher, Tim Commerford and John Densmore.”

Dave Cherubin added, “Morello is a hack. Are you bleeping kidding me. I can name 5 better guitarists. Probably 10 if you give me more time: McCready, Frusciante, Thayil, Cantrell, Navarro. I AM NOT WRONG!! Hardy, this is crap.” Unclerico23 concluded, “Soooooooooooo how can we make this all happen? They gotta at least do a song.” Foo Fighters wanting a big name to replace an original member was revealed earlier this week.
