Eddie Van Halen‘s wife Janie Van Halen has revealed that her father has dementia, just after confirming an injury getting ‘worse’ last week. She tweeted, “My dad and I. #dementiasucks.” She also posted an image that said, “Dementia. My eyes do see, my ears do hear, I am still me, so let’s be clear, my memory may fade, my walk may slow, I am me inside, don’t let me go.”

Eddie Van Halen was hospitalized last week for a painful reason, leading to fans on VHLinks.com discussing his health, and recent photos that have been posted. Little Dreamer said, “I don’t know if this deserves its own thread, since it’s still not confirmed. It’s interesting that VH’s ‘we don’t talk policy’ has had the unintended side effect of making TMZ the main source of EVH news. Apparently someone from the inner circle is willing to leak stuff to TMZ.” He later added, “He’s doing better? Maybe, but truthfully, we do not know if his current state is ‘better’ or ‘worse’ than his previous state, since we also did not know anything about it. We have no point of reference.”

Sam Vs. Dave posted, “You are correct, of course, but I don’t think the best way to combat that rumor is by posting pics of ‘Ed at the Doctor’s Office.'”

Heisenberg responded, “That Spinal Neurologist’s picture was posted the exact same week as Ed’s other pictures at the car dealership & later on at the Tool concert. I saw it the day it was posted & figured it was on purpose like the other pics to deliberately & nonchalantly offset the other tabloid papparazzi pic where he looked super puffy.”

BSBLL wrote, “Glad Ed is doing better. I think this makes clear that the last thing Ed should be doing is a giant tour across North America. Get healthy for you and your family.”
