Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has condemned Steve Buscemi’s attacker. During Pearl Jam’s show in Sacramento at the Golden 1 Center on Monday, the popular vocalist decided to address a bit of news that seemed to really make him mad. Buscemi suffered a random violent attack and Vedder wanted to address the beloved actor recently getting punched in the face in New York City for seemingly no reason.

Eddie Vedder is furious

He said: “Who the f*ck does that… hit me, don’t hit him.”

Vedder addressed the crowd, saying: “So there was something really disturbing we haven’t talked about. But, you know, the daily news it’s so disturbing on every level and some complex issues. But this one was just basically insanity. Did you hear Steve Buscemi, the actor… F*ckin’ Steve Buscemi the actor was just punched randomly while walking in his hometown in New York City. Who the f*ck does that to Steve Buscemi? You know what I’m talking about?”

Vedder continued and dropped a reference of Buscemi’s famous role in the 1992 Quentin Tarantino film “Reservoir Dogs”: “That’s Mr. Pink, you see. You don’t want to f*cking hit Mr. Pink. He knows people who will cut your ear off and f*ck you up, so I hope they find him.”

Eddie Vedder, who recently sounded like the old times, then went on to list many of great qualities of Buscemi, who is also known for his work in “The Sopranos,” “The Big Lebowski” and many other popular films and programs to mention here. It’s worth noting that Steve Buscemi, who was a New York City firefighter before making it in Hollywood suited up and worked alongside the firefighters to search for survivors after the World Trade Center fell on Sept. 11, 2001.

Eddie Vedder got emotional about 9/11

He said: “And I mean not only is he a great actor, he’s a great person, he’s a great dad. He has a great son named Lucian. You know 9/11, ‘cause he used to be a firefighter. He put on his f*ckin’ equipment and was down there at Ground Zero. This guy. I mean, hit me, don’t hit him. But, if one of his ear cuttin’ friends don’t find this guy, Karma will, and it won’t be pretty. Mother f*cker.”

Attack on Steve Buscemi

Steve Buscemi was on the end of a violent attack recently. A man in relation with the random attack on Buscemi on a New York City street earlier this month was arrested on an assault charge Friday according to the cops. It has been noted by the city police that the 66-year-old star of “Boardwalk Empire” and “Fargo” was walking in midtown Manhattan on May 8. A stranger then landed a vicious punch in the face on the legendary actor. He was taken to a hospital with bruising, swelling and bleeding to his left eye, but was otherwise OK, his publicist said at the time.

Police have charged a 50-year-old homeless man with second-degree assault on Friday afternoon in the same precinct where Buscemi was attacked. Authorities have announced on Tuesday that they had identified the man as the suspect and were looking for him.
