Foo Fighters Mysterious Photo Before Death Leaks

The death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, whose last text messages were recently revealed, shocked the rock and roll community to the core. Hawkins passed away on March 25, 2022, after emergency services were called to the Casa Medina hotel in Bogotá, Colombia where Hawkins would previously been complaining of chest pain. Additionally, it would be announced that at the time of his death, Hawkins had a multitude of substances in his system at the time of his passing including opioids, benzodiazepines, tricyclics, antidepressants, and others. His death was announced by the band in a statement on social media via Twitter on March 25th. The festival stage that the Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform at in Columbia was turned into a makeshift candlelight vigil for Hawkins.

In a follow-up to this, in what could very well be the last photo of the beloved Foo Fighters drummer, over on the Foo Fighters subreddit, one fellow Redditor posted a photo of himself and Hawkins which was dated on March 24th, 2022 – just one day before his tragic death. The photo can be seen below.

During a recent interview with NME, Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams discussed Taylor Hawkins and the Foo Fighters and the inspiration they had on her group as well as Paramore’s lead drummer, Zac Farro. Williams made the following comments on her podcast, ‘Everything is Emo’. Credit to NME for the below.

“I think about Taylor Hawkins a lot when I think about Zac’s playing,” she adds, before further reflecting on the late drummer’s lasting legacy as a Foo Fighters member and a musician. “I don’t want to center myself or Paramore in the conversation around Taylor Hawkins’ death, but it’s just to say that he meant a lot to so many people and there are so many stories I’m sure we’re yet to hear about him, and things that he’s done for people, ways that he’s touched peoples’ lives.”
