Thunderpussy have confirmed the gross and awesome name for their supergroup with Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and Guns N’ Roses members, in a new Twitter photo. The group features Thunderpussy, Brandi Carlile, Chad Smith, Josh Klinghoffer, Mike McCready, and Taylor Hawkins, and they performed at the Peak to the Sky show in Montana over 4th of July weekend, with the full performance being streamed online.

“Hiiii @RollingStone!! We’re actually called Hot Pussy Pepper Pearl Brandi Roses Fighter 🔥🔥🔥!”

McCready revealed to Explore Big Sky a couple of months ago that was the name in the works for the supergroup.

“I have some kind of potential names here. Hot Pearl Pussy Fighters And Roses. Molly [from Thunderpussy] came up with that one.”

“It’s a working title, but that’s our Mookie Blaylock of this band.”

He added, “Chad Smith, the drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, a phenomenal smoking drummer. Taylor Hawkins, the drummer for the Foo Fighters, and a singer it turns out, so he will be singing a few of the numbers, and on drum duty.”

A former member of Foo Fighters recently reacted to a bizarre claim by a legendary Blink-182 member.
