Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, wore an adorable outfit on Halloween last night, and it appeared she dressed down due to the pandemic, but she still looked absolutely beautiful! Frances Bean’s mother Courtney is most famous for playing in Hole, and that band’s bassist Melissa auf der Maur is seeking help from fans.
Melissa posted on Instagram, “@courtneylove brought me on an adventure of a lifetime when I joined her band Hole. We made a wicked cool album together called Celebrity Skin – to support my art factory @basilicahudson and our covid related @Kickstarter campaign we have a signed copy of that CD (no longer in print!) and cool ass tote bag made to honor her when she came to visit us in Hudson! She also posted, “In hopes to raise funds for my not for profit multi disciplinary art center that’s been on pause this year due to COVID we are running a Kickstarter @basilicahudson.
I’ve dug even deep into my archives for some hard to find merchandise and even into some of my 35mm photography from my years on the road with Hole in the 90s…. early holiday gift giving for women and n rock enthusiasts?! For a good cause?! I wish you could all join me in person for a music festival, art show, film screening at my big olde factory in Hudson NY – supporting emerging and adventurous artists and voices has become central to my life these past 10 years, not to mention my life in music the decades before …. being away from all the magic is a loss for all of us.
