After rumors for weeks, Variety have confirmed that Greta Van Fleet have hired Paul McCartney producer Greg Kurstin to produce their new album. An Aerosmith member revealed the bold truth about Greta Van Fleet last week.
The Variety tweet stated, “Power of Young Hollywood 2019: @GretaVanFleet scored a rock album Grammy Award this year for their EP, ‘From the Fires,’ but they’re just getting started. The band has enlisted Greg Kurstin (Adele, Foo Fighters, Paul McCartney) for its follow-up album.”
Popular podcast host Steven Hyden tweeted in response, “Hire ‘Mutt’ Lange cowards!”
“Rock and roll is a universal language,” Sam tells Variety. “On stage, you’ll be looking out at different people and different ages, it makes a certain amount of magic at the show, that all those people have come together for one event.”
Greta Van Fleet recently revealed an embarrassing Dave Grohl secret, as the news comes out that they are working with Foo Fighters’ producer. The information was first confirmed to the Detroit Free Press by several people, including Marlon Young, who has co-produced much of Greta Van Fleet’s work up to this point.
“I support them and hope it all works out great for them,” said Young. Greta Van Fleet just released their debut full length album Anthem of the Peaceful Army last October.
