One fan is seemingly angry with Queens of The Stone Age frontman and guitarist Josh Homme. Foo Fighters celebrated Taylor Hawkins’ memory and music at a special gig in London on Saturday, September 3rd. Hawkins, the band’s drummer since 1997, died in Bogotá, Colombia on March 25. He was 50 years old. Foo Fighters performed for a couple of hours at Wembley Stadium for a special tribute show for the late band drummer Taylor Hawkins. ‘The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts’ also took place at LA’s Kia Forum on September 27.
Josh Homme was slammed for his demeanor
One of the fans on Reddit revealed that he bartended for the artists compound tent that was beside the tunnel way leading into the stage from 1pm-1am non stop. The fan noted that it was an incredible experience even just working it and met everyone who played.
Other fans started shooting questions on the matter. One of the fans CallMeJeeJ asked, “Did you have any interaction with Homme? He seemed like he’d been getting pretty sauced up but it’s hard to tell with him and I know he’s got… a lot going on at the moment.”
In reply, it was said: “Hahah i’m glad someone asked about Josh. In true rockstar fashion he grabbed my bottle of tito’s looked me in the eyes and said “sweet” and dumped it into his iced coffee. This is after I asked “how are we what can i get you” and with no response that is what happened. He was juiced and honestly the only guest i’d can say that was disrespectful.”
Another fan noted the response and said: “Bummer about Josh… seems like a lot of first hand accounts lately have painted him as a bit of a douche, which is a real shame because he’s so goddamn talented.”
