Led Zeppelin Icon Size Revealed: ‘It Was Really Tiny’

Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant revealed the size of a motorcycle he drove in a hotel hallway in a recent Dan Rather interview, when Rather brought up Plant’s alleged crazy times on the road as a younger man. Robert Plant savagely called out Led Zeppelin fraud earlier this week.

“Well, I can only apologize for the motorbike in the hallway, but it was really tiny one, and it fit very nicely in the elevator, I’m not being smug. The other stuff to be perfectly honest, I think I must have missed that. But obviously, there was a frenetic energy, and it was not always other bands that were in the middle of it. I don’t think it was particular a magnificent achievement.”

A Nirvana icon recently took a brutal shot at Led Zeppelin. Jimmy Page posted on social media on Wednesday, “On this day in 2018, Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin was published by @reelartpress. The first and only official illustrated book produced in collaboration with the members of the band. Celebrating 50 years since their formation, it covers the group’s unparalleled musical career and features photographs of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham on and offstage, in candid moments and in the recording studio.

This definitive 400-page volume includes previously unpublished photos, artwork from the Led Zeppelin archives and contributions from photographers around the world. The book is fully annotated by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant & John Paul Jones.” A member of The Rolling Stones rejected a bold Led Zeppelin offer.
