Laundry Room Studios’ Barrett Jones has uploaded another previously unreleased clip from Foo Fighters’ HBO series Sonic Highways. It features Jones and Dave Grohl listening to a previously unreleased Grohl solo track “Slackers Password.” The track starts playing about 2:56 into the video.
A fan asked Jones on YouTube if he could release “Slackers Password.” Jones responded, “I would love to release a box set of all the stuff!! Not up to me though…”
He also responded to a fan who thought the title of “Slackers Password” was really “Wasting Time.” Jones wrote, “I think what happened was that I wrote ‘wasting time’ on the actual 1/2′ inch reel of tape when we recorded the song (just going by the chorus), but I just recently found the lyrics and the song was titled ‘Slackers Password.'”
