Marilyn Manson’s former bandmate Madonna Wayne Gacy has been very critical of Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell’s suicides in recent weeks, and he is now saying that Michael Jackson and Prince went out ‘the rock way,’ which is not suicide.
Gacy wrote on Facebook, “Say what you want about Michael or Prince, at least they went out the rock way, not suicide!”
“There are only two true rock exits: 1)Drugs/alcohol issues or 2)traveling accident.”
“What can I say? I am a traditionalist.”
He also wrote, “I am pro-choice (I love freedom over oneself) & and I am pro-life (I love not wasting yourself). I believe in a woman’s right to choose, and I decry suicide. How is that wrong?”
Gacy previously linked to a story with the headline “BANDMATE ON WHY MARILYN MANSON IS ‘MORE OF A FIGHTER’ THAN CHESTER BENNINGTON & CHRIS CORNELL” on Facebook. He wrote, “Some of us get help. We call doctors, we see psychiatrists & therapists…we do not punish others with our self-destructive tendencies.”
He also wrote “Fuck Kurt, Chris, and Chester!”
Gacy ranted on Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain further in a Sofa King Cool interview.
“I actually believe that Brian [Warner, better known as Marilyn Manson] is better, he has nothing to live for, no parents, no siblings, no children. Unlike Chester, he stays alive, he is a fighter.”
“To be completely honest, I was generally more offended by the death of Chris Cornell or Kurt Cobain over Chester whatever the fuck…I am certainly not trying to imply that he doesn’t matter as much to his fans, or to the world in general, but to me it seems like Much Ado About Nothing.”

“I wish Americans gave as much of a shit about all of our veterans committing suicide from PTSD everyday, as they do these three rockstars.”
