Marilyn Manson is facing a potential FBI investigation, and now Los Angeles detectives are on his trail for alleged abuse of women.

TMZ reported yesterday, “Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … detectives from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department plan to meet with one of Manson’s alleged victims in the coming days, and we’re told the meeting was the result of a wave of online allegations made by Manson’s exes.

Our sources say Sheriff’s deputies want to determine if a crime was committed, if it falls under their jurisdiction and if it warrants further investigation.”

The LAPD confirmed the investigation today.

“The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Special Victims Bureau is investigating allegation(s) of domestic violence involving Mr. Brian Warner, also known as ‘Marilyn Manson,’ who works in the music industry,” the LAPD said in a statement. “The incidents occurred between 2009 and 2011 when Mr. Warner lived in the city of West Hollywood.”

Manson is accused of abusing numerous women, though he has denied all allegations.
