Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan revealed that he suffered a pulled calf muscle onstage at the band’s show in Atlantic City last night. He also revealed that bassist Justin Chancellor had food poisoning, threatening a cancelation of the show, but Tool bravely powered through another stellar ‘Fear Inoculum’ North American tour show. Maynard James Keenan recently revealed if he’ll quit his new job after disrespect.

MikeB32 posted on Reddit, “Appreciation of MJK and Justin after the Atlantic City show. Maynard said he sprained his ankle real bad and Justin had food poisoning. Also said the show might not have happened.

Thankfully it did and those guys played fucking hard. They didn’t have to go that hard, but they did that. They did that for us.” Yellow_rubber_jacket clarified Keenan’s injury, “I believe he said he pulled a calf muscle.”

Maynard James Keenan hilariously mocked a Tool bandmate in a new photo. ThePatient1982 responded, “Yea calf muscle pull..but either way they were warriors struggling to move forward!!! And they trampled right through us like a freaking 10,000 man army!!! Whooo what a freakin night!!”

He also said, “Maynard pulled the muscle during the show..because Justin was sick was the only reason the show almost didn’t happen.. calf injury was just an ‘oh shit this sux’ moment..he actually still was squatting and swaying after he stated the info though..my brother was in a different part of the arena and saw him limping bad behind the stage.”

Dr. Luna chimed in, “IDK why but I don’t know if I’d enjoy seeing Maynard perform in a chair. Something totally different about these guys stage presence. Maybe if he was sitting on the edge of his platform like he did for Vicarious for the whole show? IDK I’m just rambling at this point.” Maynard James Keenan took a brutal shot at Coldplay yesterday.
