The Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger‘s rich socialite friend Jean “Johnny” Pigozzi revealed in a new interview with Vanity Fair that Jagger rejects the idea of being intimate with older women, and he prefers to be with women who are the same age to some of his children, who are in their 20’s and 30’s.

He said Jagger is “the most disciplined person I’ve ever met in my life.” He said Jagger keeps his voice in shape and works out every day, and stays hip by hanging out with his seven adult kids and his girlfriend (who is in her early 30’s). Pigozzi said Mick generally avoids old people who are close to his age. “He doesn’t hang out with people his own age, I can tell you that,” he says. “He likes the young women. No geriatric sex!”

The piece also discussed how Jagger manages to continue touring with The Rolling Stones, and bandmate Chuck Leavell said that he encouraged Mick to change the setlist.

“I made it a point to say, ‘Gosh, what a body of work. Let’s dive deep and find some songs.’”

He added, “At that point, I began taking copious notes of arrangements. I began to make chord charts and handwritten notes, and that stayed the same. Through that process, I now have these two huge volumes of notes in plastic sheets, A to Z, arranged, and I became the person—a lot of that I can keep in my head, sometimes I have to refer to those notes.”

Leavell discussed Jagger ‘needing a doctor’ a couple of days ago. The Rolling Stones had a song appear in a new Netflix film, an IORR.org member is reporting. Filflam posted, “Today I saw a Netflix movie entitled Let It Snow. It was not a bad movie and featured the relationships between a number of teenage boys and girls. One scene depicts the young hip hop male star sharing a Stones song he liked a great deal with the young lady’s dad. The father then proceeded to do a spot on imitation of Jagger strutting around the stage.

The song was 100 Years Ago, one of my favorites. How many Stones songs have been used in movies throughout the years? Anyone know? Seriously, if you have not heard this song, you should play it right away. It is a classic.”

Swayed1967 responded, “I was watching John Carpenter’s ‘Christine’ (1983) the other day when all of a sudden ‘Beast of Burden’ started playing on the car radio. This unexpected pleasure acted like an electric jolt to my brain, awakening me to the fact that this was an excruciatingly lame movie which I should stop watching. So I did. Thank ya, Mick & Keith.

100 Years Ago is a classic, you say? Well, perhaps I’ll give it a spin…I’m just so darn lazy. Remind me again next year.”
