Myles Kennedy discussed the possibility of recording a new Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators album in a new Metal Wani interview.
Kennedy said, “Yeah, there’s been talk of that. I think it’s just a matter of when everybody’s schedules can make it so that can happen. ‘Cause the GUNS N’ ROSES thing is going great. So it’s just a matter of when that window comes.”
Kennedy was also asked if he agrees with KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons’ 2014 “rock is dead” comment. He responded: “No, absolutely not. I think that [the Guns N’ Roses ‘Not In This Lifetime’] tour is a testament the fact that there are still millions of people that wanna hear rock and roll, which is a good thing. I think that people have been saying that rock and roll is soon to be dead, really, since it started, which is fascinating to me. But I don’t think it’s gonna die anytime soon.”
