Former Queens of the Stone Age singer Mark Lanegan has apologized to fans for a poor gig in Edinburgh on an otherwise stellar European solo tour. Josh Homme’s wife revealed a ‘monster’ photo a couple of weeks ago.

Bill Shaw tweeted, “Feel very disappointed by @marklanegan for his poor gig in Edinburgh tonight. He owes an apology to his fans in this city for a really shit gig tonight.”

Lanegan responded, “I am sorry for your disappointment, sir. Had just received some personally heartbreaking news and it was difficult to concentrate to my full ability. When you have 8 days off in 2 1/2 months sometimes life hits you harder than normal. I’m sure you’ve had a shit day or two on job.”

GL Taylor shot back, “Admirable of @marklanegan to apologise, but not sure that he needed to put all that info out. Looking at the setlist looks like he did almost a full set less encore in circumstances where he wasn’t 100%. I wish you a good end to the tour & all the best for the future, Mark.”

Heather Watt chimed in, “I wasn’t at the gig but Mark doesn’t owe anyone an apology here, life gets difficult at the most unpredictable times. No one is ever the best version of themselves 100% of the time. Unfortunately, the music industry isn’t always sensitive to that fact and ‘the show must go on.'”

Richard Leyshon wrote, “Sorry to hear this Mark. I remember telling you after a gig in Clifton, Bristol how your music was with me through some hard times. I don’t know who you turn to when its rough, but theres a lot of people out there that have your back.” Josh Homme taking a brutal shot at a Foo Fighters member was just revealed.
