Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello savagely called out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for not having inducted Nine Inch Nails yet on his SiriusXM program a couple of days ago. A Rage Against The Machine member unloaded on a Rock Hall of Fame snub yesterday.

A fan named Nick Bambach recapped Morello’s remarks on Nine Inch Nails, Motorhead, and Biggie Smalls. On Nine Inch Nails, they’re “certainly deserving and overdue. Every year I try to get them on the ballot.” Tom Morello believes Trent Reznor is a “visionary songwriter” and “one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen.”

Howard Stern revealed the bold truth about Nine Inch Nails a few days ago. Next is the MC5, who he argues “basically invented punk… they’re on the top of my list.” He then introduces Biggie who he feels is a “super deserving Rock Hall candidate…they’re no better MC than The Notorious B.I.G.” Last up is Motorhead who is an “outrageously deserving candidate on the ballot for the first time…no one in the history of rock and roll is more rock and roll than Lemmy Kilmister.”

Some good insight from one of the most outspoken & passionate members of the Rock Hall Nominating Committee. He played non-HOF nominees too, but here’s a list of the songs those nominated.

Playlist:
Soundgarden – “Rusty Cage”
Judas Priest – “The Hellion/Electric Eye”
