Tool singer Maynard James Keenan has an interesting reaction to Brad Wilk taking a photo of him near a Rage Against The Machine poster, looking hilariously sad. Rage Against The Machine’s venues for their 2020 reunion shows were just revealed.

Wilk wrote in a caption to the photo he recently uploaded on social media, “Hangin with Maynard in my apartment in Hollywood, mid 90’s. #ratm #tool #taxidriver.”

Hctim_poot asked, “What VHS is he holding?” Wilk answered, “I’d have to guess Andy Kaufman I’m from Hollywood/ Breakfast with Blassie. The greatest double feature of all time.”

Tralalasf commented, “Was it that pad south of Paramount?” Wilk responded, “No I think this is on Cochran.”

HorseHammer666 posted on Tool’s Reddit about their opening bands, “All of these posts about how Tool bring out shitty opening bands…

Did ya’ll just show up to the party? Tool has brought out Mastodon, Fantomas, King Crimson, The Melvins, Isis, Russian Circles, Wovenhand, Yob, Meshuggah and Tomahawk. So many ‘shitty openers.’ 🙄

Tool are if anything the ONLY rock band operating at their level that brings out interesting acts.”

Dx_theme_song commented, “And I wish I saw Tool on those tours. First show was Monster Mash so opener wise I was spoiled but I’ve skipped the openers since. If you want a poster, nobody is stopping you from hanging on the concourse til 830. Cage the Elephant was good/tolerable at Gov Ball lol.”

ZephyrtheProphet said, “I do think Tool tends to tour with less known acts nowadays. And I think anyone who isn’t a festival headliner would probably want to open for a sold out metal show. So I’m sure it’s very deliberate.”

Taraist wrote, “Did y’all even see how Author & Punisher is making all that noise?! He’s incredible! Watch the YouTube videos on his instruments.” Tool recently confirmed a 2020 tour without Maynard James Keenan, Adam Jones, Danny Carey, and Justin Chancellor.
