While touring Europe, The Red Chili Peppers were stopped by Belarus customs officers and were taken to a secluded room for autographs. However, the officers had mistakenly identified them as Metallica and insisted they sign a spread of Metallica CDs and images. The Chili Peppers obliged but not before unsuccessfully trying to explain the mix up to the officers.

Lets just hope the customs officers are better at identifying people on the no fly list than they are popular mainstream rock bands. The Red Hot Chili Peppers released its latest album, The Getaway, in June and is currently playing the summer festival circuit in support.
