Rush members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeston recently reunited to drink wine. Lee wrote about the experience and posted photos on social media. Rush singer Geddy Lee recently made an announcement about being ‘back.’

“One of the many things I am passionate about is great Burgundy. Yet, I am always hesitant to post pictures of the ‘Fancy-shmancy’ wine related fundraisers that I am lucky enough to attend. But this one was so profound in it’s breadth and purpose that I have to make an exception. Last night (along with my BFF Alex Lifeson) I attended an incredible dinner/tasting which combined at least 3 of my favourite things and featured over 20 rare wines from the legendary Domaine de la Romanee Conti in Burgundy.

It was generously hosted by Arron Barberian in the wine cellars of his Steak House, Barberian’s , but most importantly the monies raised will go to build Toronto’s first wheelchair accessible baseball park in partnership with the City of Toronto and the Blue Jays Care Foundation. Bravo to all the generous souls who attended and contributed to this terrific cause!”

Geddy Lee recently revealed the horrible money Rush was paid. Lee also recently discussed the success of his book, “Oh wow!…a big thank you to all Canadian Bass Nerds and Normal People for making the BBBoB the #1 bestseller this week in my home and native land! Who knew? Also nice to see another fine Canuck musician featured there too… congrats to @jannarden on her book Feeding My Mother! #1 #musicianscanwritebookstooyaknow #BBBoB #numberonebestseller #basspornforeveryone #vintagebassguitarsrule #blahblahblah #yourdadwantsabigeffinbassbookforFathersDay #reallyhedoes.” Geddy Lee was recently disrespected by a big name on television.
