Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash’s longtime girlfriend Meegan Hodges has announced that her father has undergone surgery to have skin cancer removed. Slash was angry in a photo when he caught someone filming him yesterday.

She wrote on social media, “Today my Dad had skin cancer removed. My poor dad. Please use sunscreen! This is no joke.”

She also posted, “My favorite time of the year…. I LOVE HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS! 👻😱🤡☠️😈🍬🕸️🗡️🎃REPOST FROM @gnicotero Damn I get to run thru the coolest mazes ever with these amazing guys tomorrow at @horrornights and preview the maze based on CREEPSHOW celebrating the original movie and my new show premiering on sept 26 @shudder #universalhhn @creepshowtv Hope to see you there!!!! @realeliroth @slash.”

Slash may have revealed the first new Guns N’ Roses album rehearsal photo a couple of days ago. The unheard Guns N’ Roses songs “State of Grace” and “Perhaps” recently leaked. James reviewed “State of Grace” on the GNR Evolution board, “This song has major potential. Holy shit. Just like with Soundgarden, when a rough demo has this much potential, you’re looking at a monster track. The more we hear of these rough demos, the more I understand comments from people like Srinson’s raving on the material in the early years.

They went overboard on the hype but there was something special there. Id give my left nut to see the alternate universe where this album comes together properly and gets a 2000 release. Anyone remember that quote about CD sounding like something and Beck mixed by Trent Reznor This is the song.” Gene Simmons recently revealed what his wife did with Slash and Jon Bon Jovi.
