Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor revealed a photo of his JB/KB guitar that is a homage to the legendary AC/DC, who are rumored to announce a new album and tour with Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd, and Cliff Williams back in the back next week. The guitar is great, but it was terribly broken at the neck!

JB/KB was The Junk Beer Kidnap Band, a Corey Taylor side project formed in 2008 as ‘the first stoner rock disco funk band.’ The band featured Corey Taylor, Jason Christopher, Ryan Berrier, Thomas Doggett, Tyson Leslie, and Nik Sorak.

Taylor wrote on Instagram, “My original @gibsonguitar Explorer that I used with JB/KB before it was broken at the neck. Will be signing this and many others to donate to charity for auction.”

Taylor recently told Jason Rockman of iHeartRadio Canada about his new Slipknot mask, “It’s disturbing. That’s kind of what you go for, really. Everybody was complaining about it at first, and they were, like, ‘It’s hard to look at.’ And I was, like, ‘That was the point. I didn’t want you to be comfortable looking at it, man.’

I’m not up here trying to look like My Little Pony or anything like that,” referring to the toy line and media franchise mainly targeting girls. “It’s ridiculous. Nothing against the Bronies [adult male fans of My Little Pony]. It’s a strong organization.”
