Tool First 2022 Rehearsal Without Maynard James Keenan Leaks

Tool have recently rehearsed for their upcoming 2022 shows that they will have going on in the months ahead. The band has been through a lot lately since we saw the drummer, Danny Carey go to jail quickly for assaulting someone. Most Tool fans have moved on from this instance as the livestream of their rehearsal was viewed by many.

While many were all for hearing the band rehearse, they didn’t get to hear Maynard James Keenan on the microphone singing the words that they know best. Many fans were freaked out by this, but it should be mentioned that this is commonplace for the band as they never practice with the full band, especially sans Maynard.

The livestream was screen captured by many and reposted on sites like YouTube. Reddit started to also light up after the livestream as many fans thought that they band would be canceling their upcoming tour due to a multitude of reasons including the issue with Danny Carey and Covid fears as well.

Fans stated on Reddit such things as: “Here’s your proof that they aren’t planning to cancel, folks. God da*n I cant wait. Jealous of you, Tacoma :)”

Another fan, however isn’t so sure that the plans will stay on as they said: “You don’t have to stop playing music to cancel. I am in a band myself and we jam a lot, but sometimes as a band we think to ourselves if playing live is what we really want and maybe just playing for fun is the more ideal thing. They likely are not going to cancel, but at the end of the day these guys are doing it for for everyone else as much, if not more, for themselves.”

At the level that Tool are at, it’s hard to imagine that they would be doing anything for fun. In fact, if anything, Tool would be practicing in order to continue to stick to their touring plans as touring is one of the main paths of income for any band. We will have to see how all of this goes, but the signs are there for the band to still be going forward with their touring plans.
