Tool Member Removed From Spotify With Joe Rogan

The saga continues with Joe Rogan and his podcast. Before we get into the story, it should be noted that the saga began when Neil Young petitioned to take his whole music catalog off of streaming giant Spotify unless they were to take down the Joe Rogan experience podcast from their platform.

Many other artists joined Neil Young in stating that they also wanted their music taken down from the platform as well. Other artists sided with the idea that Neil Young had, but did not want to take down their music out of fear of losing too much of the revenue that they use for daily expenditures.

Fast forward to now where Tool singer Maynard James Keenan also sees him self in the news with his car stolen along with some food in the vehicle – and we have a plethora of drama moving along.

Now, this isn’t the only odd happenstance that shows Joe Rogan and Maynard James Keenan in the news together at once. It seems that the episode which featured Maynard James Keenan on the Joe Rogan experience has been removed from Joe’s episode list. as of now, this may be a glitch or this may be something bigger. There’s really no telling as this is still developing.

There has been no official word from the Joe Rogan camp or the Maynard James Keenan camp on this subject, but we would imagine that something should come out soon to clear the air on why this has happened. as stated above, this could easily be one giant mistake, but it also could be that Maynard James Keenan wants to remove himself silently from the Joe Rogan experience without having to make it public knowledge on the forefront.

Maynard has always been very open with his views both political and non-political, but with Joe Rogan having an ion him Maynard may not want the same eye that lies upon Joe.
